About this lesson

An Account is the company view. It brings together activity from many Users who work at the same organization and adds company traits you care about, like industry or plan. 

The value is simple: sales, marketing, and success get one shared picture of who’s involved and what’s happening. Anchor everything on a steady account_id (or another reliable key) so the same organization stays consistent across tools. Keep Account Attributes lean, only what you’ll use- and link Users so roll-ups make sense. You can add Accounts by importing a file or creating one manually for testing. If more than one system can set the same field, pick a clear rule for which value should win. 

With that in place, you can see account health at a glance, understand which people did what, and time outreach with confidence. Accounts turn scattered signals into a single, useful story at the company level.
